Sweet Tee – “Let The Jingle Bells Rock”

“Oh, you didn’t know Christmas went hip hop? Check the clock, and let the jingle bells rock”

Here’s another cut off the 1987 Christmas Rap compilation released by Profile Records. “Let The Jingle Bells Rock” is an original track by Sweet Tee, a female rapper from Queens most known for her 1988 debut album It’s Tee Time.

She rocks the old-school hip hop beat, rapping about Christmas throughout the song. It lacks a bit of personality, particularly from the instrumental standpoint, but it’s a solid niche track, perfect for a Christmas hip-hop mixtape.
