Yesterday, Terrace Martin’s acclaimed album 3ChordFold received the remix treatment in the form of 3ChordFold:Remixed. Here is a b-side from that album that didn’t make the cut, but (thankfully) was released separately.
“Christmas On Soul” warms up to the Christmas spirit with the “Jingle Bells” instrumental we all know and love. Then the beat drops and boom, it’s fast-paced, jazzy R&B time. With guest vocals from J. Black and a verse from Snoop Dogg, the song is extremely diverse but it fits together quite nicely.
