2-Cent Christmas 2013 – Parody Video (Impersonations of Jay-Z, Meek Mill, Juicy J, and MANY more)

The moment we have all been waiting for… #2CentXmas 2013!! The fifth annual 2-Cent Christmas video is out now and does not disappoint! Switching it up this year, the group performs live on stage for the majority of the songs, rather than making it purely a music video as they have done in the past. Christmas

Terrace Martin – “Christmas On Soul” ft. Snoop Dogg & J. Black

Yesterday, Terrace Martin’s acclaimed album 3ChordFold received the remix treatment in the form of 3ChordFold:Remixed. Here is a b-side from that album that didn’t make the cut, but (thankfully) was released separately. “Christmas On Soul” warms up to the Christmas spirit with the “Jingle Bells” instrumental we all know and love. Then the beat drops

Juice Crew All-Stars – “Cold Chillin’ Christmas”

Back in 1988, the Juice Crew released “Cold Chillin’ Christmas” as part of the Warner Bros. Records’ compilation Winter Warnerland. On the track, Juice Crew members Fly Ty, Big Daddy Kane, Roxanne Shanté, and MC Shan spit some G-rated stories and raps about Christmas time. The track is rare, as I could not find an official download

Ying Yang Twins – “This Christmas” (with Lyrics)

As the second song on the Ying Yang Twins’ Christmas album, “This Christmas” is arguably the most true to the original Christmas classic. It starts off as a standard R&B remake until Kaine chimes in at around the 1:30 mark. I’m not a fan of his verse because his vocals just don’t fit the dynamic

Ying Yang Twins – “Sleigh Ride” (with Lyrics)

I know it’s rare, but the Ying Yang Twins are actually on good behavior for this song. There are a few lines about their desire for spiked egg nog and tightly rolled blunts, but that’s par for the course. Aside from that, “Sleigh Ride” has got to be one of the cleanest and morally right

69 Boyz, Quad City DJs, and K-Nock – “What You Want For Christmas”

Talk about taking it to the next level… this song is crazy! The instrumental’s got a techno/breakbeat backbone to it, with jingle bells sitting front and center. Dare I say this is actually a Christmas song that is danceable. As with the last song we posted, the premise of the song is the rappers outlining

Jim Jones – “Dipset X-Mas Time” ft. Stack Bundles, Mel Matrix

The Diplomats released a quasi-Christmas album back in 2006, and this is the opening track on that album. It features Jim Jones, Mel Matrix, and the late Stack Bundles. The song has a nice Christmas vibe to it, but the Dipset crew keeps it thuggin by “livin fast and ballin at Christmas time”. Jones raps

Snoop Dogg – “Santa Claus Goes Straight To The Ghetto” ft. Daz Dillinger, Nate Dogg, Tray Deee, Bad Azz

Today we got a real dope track off Death Row Records’ Christmas On Death Row album, plus a video to match! Produced by Snoop, the beat is real laid-back so grab your beverage of choice and kick your feet up for this one. The video is solid too, with Snoop tryin’ to steal my swag by dressing up
