“Christmas in Boston” feat. 1982 (Statik Selektah & Termanology), Kali, Reks, JFK & Teyana Taylor

Back in 2010, Kanye’s G.O.O.D. music label released a surprisingly relevant Christmas song in 2010 called “Christmas in Harlem”.  It’s easily one of my favorite xmas songs with it’s holiday-but-not-gimmicky vibe, featuring Teyana Taylor on the chorus and a whole list of rappers. Apparently that list of rappers wasn’t long enough: a bunch of Boston emcees put together

Rza & Craig Ferguson – “Deck The Halls”

Back in 2005, TV host Craig Ferguson brought out RZA to perform a hip-hop version of the Christmas carol “Deck The Halls”. RZA does a little beatboxing, while Craig Ferguson plays the stereotypical embarrassing white guy… you’ll see what I mean. Christmas Relevance Naughty or Nice? Black Spade – “Dis Christmas (W/O U)”

Here at Hip Hop Santa, there is a lot of familiarity with the classic Christmas songs. “Jingle Bells”, “Last Christmas”, and “Wonderful Christmas Time” are sampled like nobody’s business. It’s very refreshing when an artist creates an original song that captures the Christmas spirit without resorting to jingle bells as the primary instrument.

Lehtmojoe – “Christmas In Da Club” (Paul McCartney x 50 Cent)

You thought Lehtmojoe only had one Christmas mash-up track? You must be trippin.

Mac Lethal – “Santa Raps SO Fast!!!”

Mac Lethal is back at it again with yet another installation of his “fast rap” series. This time, he claims a NEW WORLD RECORD!!! See for yourself if he can back up his claim, or if he should dejectedly go climbing back up the chimney.

White Lightning, P’Zilla, and Chinchilla – “Ho! Ho! Ho! (It Looks Like Snow)”

Chances are you haven’t heard of White Lightning, P-Zilla, or Chinchilla until now. It’s okay, neither did we. Just know that your mind is about to be blown with one of the best Christmas rap songs in the history of Christmas rap songs.
